Meet the Jacksonville Team Behind Elmstead Remodeling Jacksonville
Elmstead Remodeling Jacksonville is a Cedarwell company, which means every person on our crew works to one standard: the Cedarwell Care Promise. That’s the drop cloths on your floors, the shoe covers at the door, the written price before any work starts, and the photo of the clean-up before the crew leaves. But a promise is only as good as the people keeping it, and the people who show up to Jacksonville homes – from Riverside to Mandarin to San Marco – are the reason that promise holds. Here’s who you’ll see at your door.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People

Marcus T. – Lead Technician
Marcus has been setting tile and hanging cabinetry in Northeast Florida for over fifteen years, and he’s been with Elmstead since the Jacksonville location opened its doors. He holds manufacturer certifications from Schluter for waterproofing systems and from James Hardie for exterior installation, which matters when a Jacksonville summer drops eleven inches of rain in a month and your bathroom walls need to be genuinely waterproof, not just “should be fine.” Marcus is the crew member who will walk you through the tile layout before a single piece is set, because he’d rather redo a chalk line than redo a wall. He keeps a notebook of every job he’s worked on in Jacksonville, and yes, he can tell you what he did on that kitchen in Avondale three years ago.
Lauren D. – Senior Installer
Lauren started as an apprentice and earned her place running the finish work, which is the part of the job where the difference between good and done-right actually lives. She specializes in cabinet installation and countertop templating, and she’s worked extensively with KraftMaid and Wellborn cabinetry, plus Cambria and Silestone surfaces. Lauren is the one who notices when a drawer face is off by a sixteenth of an inch and fixes it before you ever see it. She’s also the reason our clean-up standards are what they are – Lauren treats the photo of the clean-up as a personal receipt, and she takes it before the crew leaves, every time. When she’s not on a job site, she’s usually restoring mid-century furniture, which explains her eye for detail on Jacksonville’s older homes.
Devon R. – Service Coordinator
Devon is the voice on the phone when you call (904) 643-6243, and one of the live people who answers around the clock – not a voicemail box, not a bot, not a next-business-day callback. He schedules every walk-through, coordinates material deliveries, and builds the written price for each project before any work starts. That written price is non-negotiable for us, and Devon is the person responsible for making sure it’s accurate, line by line. He grew up in Jacksonville and knows the neighborhoods well enough to tell you honestly when a permit might add time to a project in a historic district like Riverside or Avondale. Devon is also the detail person on scheduling around family needs – if your kids nap from one to three, he’s the one making sure the crew’s quiet-tool work lands in that window.
Andre B. – Apprentice
Andre is newer to the trade and spends his days learning from Marcus and Lauren, which means he’s doing the careful work of prep, protection, and material staging that keeps a job moving without tearing up your home. He’s the one laying down the drop cloths at the start of every day and pulling them up at the end, and he’s learned pretty quickly that a clean job site is a faster job site. Andre is also the first to ask before he moves a single piece of furniture, which is the “Ask before we move or touch anything” part of our C.A.R.E. values taken literally. He’s currently studying for his building-contractor exam, and he’ll tell you that working around Jacksonville’s older homes – the sagging foundations, the honest framing, the weird plumbing – is the best classroom he could ask for.
One Standard, Every Job
The Jacksonville crew works under the same Cedarwell Care Promise that governs every Elmstead location, but that doesn’t make us a single corporate blob. We’re independently owned and operated, which means the people above are our actual neighbors – they live here, their kids go to school here, and they shop at the same Publix you do. When we say we’ll clean up like it’s our own home, that’s a specific list of behaviors: drop cloths on the floors, shoe covers at the door, quiet tools during rest hours where possible, pet-safe products where there’s a choice, and a photo of the clean-up before the crew leaves. Every project is covered by the 365-Day Done Right Promise – if it’s not done right after the job is complete, we make it right. That promise is stamped on every project, and it’s backed up by the people whose names are on this page. Call (904) 643-6243 and you’ll get Devon or another live person, ready to schedule your free estimate.
